This 1959 Berkeley SE328 (chassis 1365) is one of about 1,259 built in England between 1957 and 1958. Many of those built were exported to the US, but relatively few remain. A fiberglass monocoque design, power comes from the original 328cc Excelsior vertical, two-stroke twin of about 18 HP. One of a series of FWD, motorcycle-engine cars built by Berkeley, the cars were obviously not fast, but were regarded well for their handling and motorsport success in lightweight formulas. This is a complete project the car is drivable with clear Montana title. A paint job and new upholstery would make this a very nice car

Yeah, that’s a rare, but not super rare, nutty little car. The one to have has the 3 cylinder, 3 carbs motor. Or, the 3 wheeled version. Looks like they tried to make this one a Corvette in the rear.

Right, all that is needed is a little paint and some seats. Typical Craigslist ad. Looks like it could hold its own with the golf cart set in Florida. On a real road, not so much.

That’s a great “surprised face” car!
